砂拉越雾霾期间呼吸道感染病例上升

砂拉越15所哨点医疗机构的监测显示，雾霾期间上呼吸道感染病例轻微上升；全州哮喘病例暂未出现持续激增。
今年1月至8月底，这些医疗机构共记录约69万4800次求诊，其中包括6万4688宗上呼吸道感染和6156宗哮喘病例。结膜炎每周平均病例也从17宗增至21宗。
上呼吸道感染近期每周平均约1752宗，高于今年初的约1717宗。较明显的增幅出现在8月中旬，当时南区约有1250宗，中区超过1000宗，北区接近400宗。砂拉越中央医院急诊与创伤部在8月数日也接获较多哮喘病人，不过整体监测未发现哮喘病例持续大幅上升。
砂拉越卫生局将继续追踪相关疾病，并维持药物、器材和医护人手供应。烟霾严重时，应减少户外剧烈活动；若必须外出，可戴上合适口罩。持续咳嗽、呼吸困难或眼睛疼痛者，应尽快到医疗机构求诊。
