Batu Kawa 两项排水提升工程已经开跑，总值超过 RM800,000，重点是缓解闪电水灾问题。

根据 DayakDaily 报道，RPR Batu Kawa 的工程会分阶段提升屋前和屋后的排水沟。排水工程完成后，相关巷道也会重新铺路。
为什么这件事重要
砂拉越副总理兼 Batu Kawa 州议员 拿督阿玛沈桂贤医生 表示，Batu Kawa 发展越来越快，加上雨量增加，一些旧排水系统已经不够应付，所以这些基础设施提升不能再拖。
他也提醒承包商必须按时完成工程，否则可能面对行动，包括被列入黑名单。
