沈桂贤指砂残旧医疗设施需89亿 预算分配细节待厘清

砂拉越残旧诊所与医院需要89亿令吉处理，副总理沈桂贤（Sim Kui Hian）10月11日指出。不过，这是他提出的需求金额，并非联邦已批准给砂的拨款。
沈桂贤回应2027年联邦财政预算案时说，还须查看细节，分清哪些钱用于新项目，哪些用于延续现有工程。对等待诊所或医院改善的社区，这个区别比整体预算数字更实际：总拨款增加，仍不能直接说明哪一所医疗设施将有新工程。
他也提出砂拉越需要区域血库及中央化验室，并认为增设专科牙科诊所是良好起步。这次声明未交代血库和化验室的选址、获批经费或动工日期。
病患与家属接下来需要看到的，是具体设施名单、工程范围和落实时间表。89亿令吉的需求估算，本身不代表维修即将开工，也不表示任何指定诊所的服务安排已改变。
