古晋多个地区居民近期投诉自来水浑浊变色，砂拉越水务（Sarawak Water）强调 Batu Kitang 滤水站运作正常，问题出在输水管网内的沉淀物受水流变动影响。
6月初开始，古晋县多个地区陆续出现自来水浑浊、水质变色的问题。砂拉越人民联合党（SUPP）公共投诉局主任 Milton Foo 在6月12日指出，他在24小时内就接到超过10宗投诉，呼吁当局公开水质报告并派发干净水源给受影响居民。
砂拉越水务昨日发文告说明，Batu Kitang 滤水站处理过程一切正常，水质变色是因为供水管网内部的沉淀物受水流变化及系统稳定化工程影响而浮动。
自6月6日起已展开缓解措施，包括加强管网冲洗及现场监测。最新数据显示，大部分受影响区域的水质已有明显改善，投诉量也比上周减少。
砂拉越水务表示冲洗和监测工作将持续进行，直至供水系统完全稳定、水质恢复满意水平为止，并对造成不便向用户致歉。
