卫生部否认高级卫生官员没有出席在砂拉越殉职医护人员葬礼的说法。
卫生部在9月16日的回应中称，有关说法不属实。不过，这项回应针对的是官员是否出席的指控，并没有交代每一场葬礼的完整安排。
目前可以确认的是卫生部已作出反驳；个别葬礼的细节，则应以相关家属或机构的具体说明为准。
