MyKad打印服务受影响至9月7日，12岁首办者暂缓申请

9月1日至7日到柜台换卡、补卡或为12岁孩子申请第一张MyKad，卡片可能无法马上打印。
国民登记局（JPN）正把现有MyKad系统转换至新一代卡片，期间打印服务暂受影响。没有紧急需要更新或更换身份证的民众，局方建议先延后办理。
家长或监护人也受促暂缓12岁孩子的首次申请，以便之后直接领取新一代MyKad。若因工作、学校或旅行文件急需用卡，应先向JPN确认处理安排；9月7日是目前公布的预计影响期限，后续仍以局方最新通知为准。
