砂拉越一周新增1宗狂犬病阳性犬只个案

砂拉越8月24日至28日新增一宗狂犬病阳性犬只个案，涉及Belaga的Sungai Asap一只流浪狗。
这宗个案不在古晋。古晋南市市长表示，古晋将在9月展开大型防狂犬病疫苗接种行动，但日期和地点尚未公布。
砂拉越兽医服务局提醒，狗只的狂犬病疫苗需要定期接种，并非打一针就永久有效。家中狗只若尚未接种或已经逾期，饲主可先向兽医查询；兽医狂犬病热线是082-610023或016-2557267。
若人或宠物被可疑动物咬伤，或可能接触染病动物，应尽快求医或联系兽医。
