I would save Darul Hana Bridge for the cooler hour: start at the Waterfront, cross slowly, and let the river connect old Kuching with Astana and the north bank. Opened in 2017 after a RM35 million project, the 337-metre pedestrian bridge made the north bank reachable on foot. Its S-curve and opposing cable masts change the view as you walk; its later life as a gathering space matters as much as the photograph.
