Balai Ringin拟规划为卫星城，发展构想涉及GKCDA5500万令吉拨款。
8月29日，Balai Ringin的Jalan Melikin提升工程在Kampung Danau Keranggas举行竣工活动；相关发展讨论期间，也提出把当地规划为卫星城，以配合实文然省未来成长，并把周边社区纳入整体发展。
同场提到Pantu综合紧急中心已获砂拉越政府批准，另有计划在较后阶段兴建迷你体育场旁的青年中心，以及在SMK Balai Ringin设立数码中心。数码中心预计惠及约2000名学生，内容包括数码技能、STEM、机器人及技职教育培训。
目前卫星城规划、青年中心和数码中心的执行时间表、负责机构及动工日期都未公布；Pantu综合紧急中心的开工安排也尚未交代。5500万令吉拨款的说法，暂不能当作卫星城即将开工的确认。
