<![CDATA[New Tabuan Jaya Health Clinic Opens July 20 — RM24 Million Facility to Serve 1,000 Patients Daily]]>A brand new Type 2 health clinic in Tabuan Jaya is set to open on July 20, offering services to up to 1,000 patients daily.

The RM24 million facility, announced by Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian, will serve patients from Tabuan Jaya, Samarahan (up to Unimas), and Stutong areas.

  • Physiotherapy & occupational therapy
  • Psychology, nutrition & dietetics

Parking Concerns

Dr Sim noted the clinic only has about 100 parking spaces despite serving up to 1,000 patients and employing 179 staff — something to keep in mind when visiting.

The clinic (Lot 19351, Block 11, Muara Tebas Land District) is the second Type 2 clinic in Sarawak after Petra Jaya. It was originally supposed to be completed in June 2024 but was delayed due to additional Fire Department requirements.
